The humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the Parish of Saint Anne within the
Liberty of Westminster
in the County aforesaid.
Sheweth
That by virtue of an Order under the hands and Seals of
Jacob

Esquires
two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace
in and for the City and Liberty of Westminster
(one whereof being of the
Quorum) bearing Date the Eighth Day of April last a Woman and two
Children in the said Order called and described by the Names and Descriptions
of
Susanna Vanno< no role >
Widow of
Peter Vanno< no role >
deceased and their two Children
to wit
Peter< no role >
aged Five Years and upwards and
John James< no role >
aged two Years
and upwards were removed and conveyed from the Parish of Saint
Martin in the Fields
within the Liberty of Westminster
in the County of
Middlesex
to the said Parish of Saint Anne
as the place of their last
legal Settlement whereby Your Petitioners conceive themselves to
be aggrieved.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal to this Court
against the Adjudication of the said two Justices and their said
Order and pray that Your Worships will please to Appoint
some Day in this present Session for the hearing and
determining this Appeal and to Order that the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of Saint Martin in
the Fields
and all persons concerned do then Attend this
Court.
