Middlesex


To the Worshipful his Majestys Justices of
the peace in and for the County of Middlesex in
their General Session of the Peace assembled

The humble Petitionofand Appeal of
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint James Westmr .
in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of an Order of Removal under
the Hands and Seals of Philip Dyot< no role > and [..] Christopher
Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace in and
for the County of Middlesex bearing Date the 13th Day
of January last past Elizabeth Edwards< no role > and her Female
Bastard Child not yet baptised were removed and conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint Pancrass in the said
County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint James
Westminster as the Place of her last legal Settlement
whereby your Petitioners conceive themselves aggrieved

Your Petrs. therefore humbly Appeal to
this Court against the Adjudication of the said
two Justices and their said Order and Pray
that the Benefit of their said Appeal may
be saved unto them and that the Rearing and
Determining thereof may be adjourned untill
the next General Quarter Session of the Peace
to be holden for the said County

And your Petrs. shall ever Pray.
