WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, Two
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for
the County Middlesex aforesaid (one Whereof being of the
Quorum), by the Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of of Saint Giles in the Fields in of the said
County, That Ann Holding< no role > hath
lately come into the Said Parish, Endeavouring to Settle
there, Contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the
Said Justices, and we do adjudge that She is likely
to become Chargeable to the Said Parish; and upon Exa
mination of the Premises upon Oath, and other Cir
cumstance, it Further appeareth unto us, and we do like-
wife adjudge, that the Parish of Saint Anne
Westiminster in the Said County
is the Place of the last legal
Settlement of the Said Ann Holding< no role > .

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to Charge and
Command the Church- Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields Forthwith
to remove and Convey the Said Ann Holding< no role >
from the Said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields to the
Said Parish of Saint Anne Westminster
and deliver her to the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to Some, or one of them, who are
hereby required to Provide for her according to Law.
Given under our Hands and Seals the 24th Day
of August 1779

To the Church- Wardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the respective Parishes of
Saint Giles in the Fields in the County of
Middlesex , and Saint Anne Westminster
in the Said County
and to all other Officers whom it may
concern.
