To the Right Worshipfull her Maties Justices of the
Grace of the County of Middx .

The humble petition and Appeal of Caesar Adamson< no role >

Humbly Sheweth


That by order dated the Eight day of
October last past under the Hands and Seales of Francis
Negus
< no role > & Gideon Harvey< no role > Esqr. two of the Maties Justices
of the Peace for this County (quorunns) is adjudged-
the Reputed Father of a Male Bastard Child bound of
the body of Mary Goodford< no role > single woman in the Parish
of St Anns (by the name of Caesar Adams< no role > ) And
there by your petitoner is Ordered to pay to the
Church wardens or Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish for & towards the Charges of Lying in of the
sd. Mary Woodford< no role > the sume of Eleaven Shillings
& Six Pence by the work for the first four weeks
from the birth of the sd Child & that after the expiracon
of the first four weeks [..] to pay weekly &
every week the sume of Two shillings six pence
towards the releife & maintenance of the said
Male Bastard Child for see long time as the same
shall be Chargable to the sd. Parish And to
give sufficient security to the Churchwardens
or Overseers of the sd Parish to & formed the
order & Indempnify the sd Parish from the sd
Male Bastard & Child [..] the sd Order will
appeare

That your Peticonr finds himselfe
aggreived by the sd Judgmt & order of the
sd two Justices of the Peace and humbly
Appealed against the same

Your Peticoner there fore prays your Worshipps will Please
a Appoint a day this & Genl sessions for the Churchwardens
Overseers of the Poor of the sd Parish of St. Anns & all other
son [..] nce to Attend their Court Accordingly to peace & abide the
saint determinacon of their Court upon & touching to is Appeale
