Mr. Graham in reply that since the paymt. had been made they had
applyed (rate in May 1776 pd. Febry 1776.) appl in Apl and
urgd that on the appl. over an adjd. appeal [..] it
was before the and Could not be premissd upon the

Mr. Howth. that the demd must be proved that demd had
been made prior to the paymt. & the applts. ought not
to be permitted to take advantage of their own ob [..]
Mr. [..] on [..] side [..] his demd they should has
applyd. for the Comd. have no authoruity after paymt.
