And Thomas Cattle< no role > indicted by the name of Thomas Cattling< no role > cometh here into Court in his own proper person And
having heard the said Indictment read prays Judgement if out said Lord the King ought further to prosecute the
said Indictment because he saith that from the time of his Captrim to the present time he was and Stile is called
and known by the Christian and Sir name of Thomas battle< no role > without this that he the said Thomas battle< no role > now is
or at any time heretofore was called named or known by the name of Thomas Cattling as is supposed by
the said Indictment And this he is ready to verifye wherefore and because he the said Thomas Cattle< no role > is not
named in the said Indictment by the name of Thomas Cattle< no role > he the said Thomas Cattle< no role > prays Judgement
of the said Indictment and that the said Indictment may be quashed
