To the Worshipful His Majestys Justices of the
peace for the County of Middlesex in their General
Quarter Session of the Peace at Hick's Hall in Saint
John Street in and for the said County Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeal of Thomas
Joyce
< no role > of The Parish of Saint Luke in the County of Middx
Chandler

Sheweth

That Your Petitioner was on the 21st. day ofApril InstantMarch last
Convicted before John Sherwood< no role > Esquire one of His Majesty's Justices of
the peace for the Said County for unlawfully Selling four Leaves of
Wheaten Bread not marked with a Roman Wand was adjudged
to pay and for feit for the same the Sum of Eight pounds

Your Petitioner there fore humbly Appeals to this
Court against the said Convictions and prays that this
Court will be pleased to Order that All Persons concerned
do attend this Court some day in this present Session of
the peace for the said County of Middlesex to hear and
abide the Judgement and determination of the said Court
touching the said Appeal And that Your Petitioner may
be otherwise Relieved in the Premisses as the said Court
Shall see fit

And Your Petitioner shall ever pray Etc
