Quarter Session of the Peace at Hicks Hall

The Humble Petition of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Mary Magdalen Bermondsey in the
County of Surrey

Sheweth


That by and Order under the Hands and Seals of George
Wright
< no role > and Thomas Edwards< no role > Esquires two of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex (One whereof
being of the Quorum) bearing date the third day of January last
Sarah Cheere< no role > Widow of Matthew Cheere< no role > deceasedwithand their three
Children to wit Eleanor< no role > aged Six Years Sarah< no role > Aged four
Years and Mary Aged two Years were removed from the Parish
of Saint James within the Liberty of Westminster in the said
County of Middlesex to the Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen
Bermondsey in the County of Surrey as the Place of their last
legal Settlement

Your Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Order humbly Appeal
against the same And Pray such Relief as to
YourPetitionersWorships shall seem Meet

And your Petitioners shall ever Pray Etc
