To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Hampton
in the County of Middlesex
and to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Georges Bloomsbury
in the same County

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made by you the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Hampton
unto us whose Hands and Seals are
hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and
for the said County of Middlesex (and one
of us of the Quorum) that Mary Jenkins< no role > Aged about
Seven YearsGeorge Jenkins< no role > Aged about four
Years and Sarah Jenkins< no role > Aged about two Years
lately intruded into your said Parish of Hampton
there to inhabit as Parishioner s contrary to the Laws relating
to the Settlement of the Poor, and there likely to become
chargeable, if not timely prevented: AND WHEREAS, upon
due Examination and Enquiry made [..]
Oath & other Circumstances
it appears unto Us, and we accordingly adjudge, that the said
Mary Jenkins< no role > George Jenkins< no role > & Sarah Jenkins< no role >
are likewisebecome chargeable unto the said Parish of Hampton
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said Mary Jenkins< no role > Geogre Jenkins
& Sarah Jenkins< no role > is in the said Parish of
Saint Georges Bloomesbury

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to order and require
you the said Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Hampton aforesaid, that you
or some of you, doth forthwith remove and convey the said
Mary Jenkins< no role > George Jenkins< no role > & Sarah Jenkins< no role >
from your said Parish of Hampton
to the said Parish of Saint Georges
Bloomsbury and these deliver
to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some
or one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a
true Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required, in his
Majesty's Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case
made, forthwith to receive the said Mary Jenkins< no role >
George Jenkins< no role > & Sarah Jenkins< no role >
into their said Parish and provide for them
as their own Parishioner s GIVEN under our Hands and Seals
the 17th Day of Novr in the Year of
our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy four
