MIDDLESEX .


AT the General Quareter Session of the Peace
of our Lord the King, holden in and for the County
of Middlesex , at Hicks-Hall , in Saint John-Street ,
(by adjournment) on Thursday the Fourteenth
Day of Aprilin the Fourteenthyear of the
Reign of our Sovereign Lord GEORGE the Third, King of
Great Britain, Etc, Before Sir John Hawkins< no role > Knight
Benjamin Dewley< no role > Saunders Welch< no role > John Walford< no role > Esqrs.. and
others their Fellows Justice so four said Lord the King assigned
to keep the Peace in the said County and also to hear and
determine divers Felonies Tresspasses and other
Misdemeanors committed in the same County

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Sepulchre
in the said County Have at this Present Session Exhibited their Petition and Appeal
Settingforth That by virtue of a pass warrant or Order of Removal under the Hands and Seals of
Joseph Girdler< no role > and Stephen Clarke< no role > Esquires two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date the
Twenty fifth day of February 1774 Elizabeth Wilkes< no role > This name instance is in set 767. This set is in the group(s): MothersBA . Singlewoman was removed
and Conveyed from and out of the parish of Saint Andrew Holborn which live
above the Bars in the said County of Middlesex to the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre
as the place of her last legal settlement Whereby the Petitioners conceived themselves
aggreived Now upon hearing the said Petition and Appeal in the presence and
hearing of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Bar of the said Parish of Saint
Andrew Holborn above the Bars and they consenting by their Council to the allowing
of the said Appeal It is Ordered that the said Appeal be and the same is hereby
allowed and the said Order or pass warrant of the said Two Justices is hereby vacated and
set aside And it is further Ordered that the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the said Parish of Saint Sepulchre as forthwith convey and deliver back
the said Elizabeth Wilkes< no role > (together with a copy of this Order) Unto the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Andrew Holborn above the
Bars or some or one of them who are hereby required to receive and provide for the
said Elizabeth Wilkes< no role > until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by
due course of Law
