The King agst Goulding &Simpson
for Felony

Michael Needham< no role > New Castle Street in the Parish of Saint
Mary White Chappel in the County of Middlesex Stable
Keeper Maketh Oath and Saith that in Month of July
last he this Dept was bound by Recognizance before the
sitting Justices at the Angel & browning White Chappel
to Prosecute Richard Goulding< no role > and William Simpson< no role >
Felons at the then next Session to be held at Hicks Hall
in for the said County And this Dept Saith that he is
in Obedients to his said Recognizance proper Bill of
Indictment against the said Richard Goulding< no role > and
William Simpson< no role > for the Felony aforesaid which Bill was
by the Grand Jury returned a true Bill as he this Deponent
verily believes and this Deponent further Saith that he
being intirely Ignorant of the Nature of Such Transaction
did Apply to and Pagget who is or Acts as a Constable a Witness also
for this Deponent against them he said Richard
Goulding
< no role > and William Simpson< no role > and who by the Nature
of his office is well Acquainted withthe Nature ofsuch
Business who informed this Deponent that he this Deponent was to [..]
Attend at Hicks Hall on the next day at Eleven of the Clock
and this Deponent Saith that he did rely on the direction
he so Received from the said Pagget and did not Attend the
said Court Until Eleven of the Clock when he this Deponent
was informed that the said Poisoners were discharged
at Nine of the Clock in the Morning for want of his this
Deponents Attending to give Evidence against them on
the said Indictmentsand the Deponent [..]
