On Saturday 8th. Sept. 1770 Mr. Butler & Mr. [..] Jefferson several
Times went together to Mr. Waller's Chambers, and to his Office,
several Times,toin Order to demand ofthhim the Deliveryto
of the Records Etc belonging to the Office of Clerk of the Peace, but
could not meet with Mr. Waller, the also went to Mr. Rees's House
to inquire for him there as well as at Mr. Wallers Office
