At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King
holden for the County of Middlesex at Hicks Hall in Saint John
Street in the said County (by Adjournment) On Thursday the
Twenty third day of February in the Ninth year of the Reign
of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great Britain Etc

Two several Bills or Accounts of George Smith< no role > Gentleman Governor of the
House of Correction at Tothill fields within the Liberty of Westminster in
this County being laid before this Court for Payments of the Sums of Twenty
four pounds Five shillings and one penny and One pound Seventeen shillings
and four pence being the amount of the said Accounts (the first of which
Sums is for Money distributed to Poor Prisoners there pursuant to an Order
of the County Sessions at one Penny per diem, and the other to Vagrants
in like manner) and making together the Sum of Twenty six pounds two
shillings and Five pence and it Appearing that the same Accounts have
been inspected and Examined by Sir John Fielding< no role > Knight and William
Kelynge
< no role > Esquire two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said County
and Liberty whose hands are Subscribed thereto It is Ordered that Mr
James Jefferson< no role > the County Treasurer Do pay to the said Mrs. Smith the said
Sum of Twenty six pounds two shillings and five pence in full of his said
Demand whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a Sufficient discharge
to the said Treasurer for such payment.
