1769.

NOTICE is hereby given to the acting Commission-
ers of the Land Tax of the several Divisions of this
County, That, in Pursuance of the Act of Parliament of
the 18th Year of His late Majesty, whereby the acting
Commissioners of the Land Tax, for the Time being, or
any Three, or more of them, at their Meetings for the re-
spective Divisions, are required to sign and seal a Duplicate
of the Copies of the respective Assessments to be delivered
them by the Several Assessors, after all Appeals determined,
and the same to deliver, or cause to be delivered, to the
Clerks of the Peace for their respective Counties, to be by
them kept for the Use and Purpose in the said Act expres-
sed, I have been required forthwith to give Copies of the
said Duplicates for the Year 1767, but that none of the
said Duplicated have been yet delivered to the Clerk of the
Peace of this County, to enable me to give such Copies.

P.S. Notice is Since received, that the Honourable House of Commons will
be moved on Tuesday next, against such of the Clerks and others,
as shall not immediately deliver in their Duplicates.
