Parish of St. Pancrass That there was a fight before That
between the deceast and the Prisoner That the deceast
appear to be busy with his Stick in keeping clear the
Ring That after the First Battle was over he saw
the Prison Stript and swore he would fight the
deceast & the Prisoner & the deceast fought about a
Quarter of an Hour he at first thought the deceast
had the advantage but the deceast fell whether
by a Blow or now he is not clear That the Prisoner
then rejoiced as having beat his Man [..]
to be going to put on his Clothes but was prevented
by somebody who declar'd the deceast would fight
again That then they fought again & think the
Battle fair but the Deccast from some Blow reced.
about the Head fell to the Ground and he beleive's the
Deceast never afterwards Spoke or was Sensible

in the Parish of St. Gibbs in the Feilds That on Friday
Morning he Saw the Person in Custody Striping in
order to fight With a Person who had Struck Him
& afterwards look'd out for the Person who had struck
Him with whom he after fords fought That he
the deceast had the best of the Battle but the deceast
Seemd to give out and the Prisoner seem'd to rejoiced
was going to puton his Clothes but some Friend to
the deceast prevailed upon Him to fight again
Which he did That in the second encounter the
deceast rec'd. a Blow on the left Eye or Temple which
knocked Him down thinks he did not Rise again
but was lifted up sayth he never heard Him Speak
Sayth he think's itt a very fair Battle did not see the
Deceast die but saw him panting upon the Grass
and saw him afterwards carreed by his House by
Several Men but whether living or dead is not
positive
