september session last and the said Mary and the said Thomas Bolton<lb></lb>
to give Evidence thereon for Stealing a washing Tubb the property of the<lb></lb>
Charles Crew Value Ten pence And the said Thomas Bolton being quite<lb></lb>
Ignorant and Unacquainted with the nature of Presecutions of this Kind And<lb></lb>
at it was not stole from him thought no far ther of it but expected it there<lb></lb>
was a Bill to be found that the said Jane or her Husband would take care<lb></lb>
to prefer the same and give him the said Thomas Bolton Notice when<lb></lb>
the said Eleanor Crowing was to be Tried, as he afterwards Apprehended<lb></lb>
she the said Jane or her Husband had done for on the Friday in the-<lb></lb>
session week she the said Jane called on the said <rs type="persName" id="LMSMPS50577_n24-8">Thomas Bolton</rs>

Desired him to go with her to Hicks Hall to Know when the said Eleanor<lb></lb>
bowing was to be Tried which he very readily and willingly did and when they<lb></lb>
came there she the said Jane sayd she would go and Ask And accordingly-<lb></lb>
went to one of the Little offices Just within the Gate and when she returned<lb></lb>
she sayd they must Attend the next Morning by Nine of the Clock being<lb></lb>
Saturday which they accordingly did and when they came there they found<lb></lb>
the said Eleanor Cowing was discharged for want of prosecution and then,<lb></lb>
was informed it was for went of a Bill of Indictment being found against<lb></lb>
her and that it was not though any wilfull neglect or partiality that<lb></lb>
he did not preferr a Bill against the said Eleanor Cowing but intirely thre'<lb></lb>
Ignorance and for the reasons aforesaid These are therefore to Authorize<lb></lb>
and require you to respite and for bear Estreting into his Majesty's <rs type="placeName" id="LMSMPS50577_geo30">Court<lb></lb>
of Exchequer</rs>

the Recognizance wherein the said Thomas Boltom stands-<lb></lb>
