The Information of William Guy< no role > taken
before me this 5th.. day of Octr. 1714

Who being upon Oath says that he knows John Brass< no role > other [..]
Cade now present, says that last Friday senight he met with
him at the Star in Winfield Street Spital Fields at Eleven of the
Clock in the forenoon, that they continued there some time
that Informt. went away and returned and that they stea'd
til five o'Clock in the Evening when sd. Brass proposed
the Rubbing Mrs. Hubbard Pawn broker in Chiswell
Street , says they went there at about 9 o' Clock the same
Evening when sd. Brass went in and pretended to Pawn
a Handkerchief says he this Informant held the door
while Brass Robbed the said Mrs.. Hubbard of some
Money and a Silver Watch, says he this Informant the
Sunday afterwards Sold the said watch for a Guinea
to one James Murphey< no role > then of Play House Yard White
Cross Street Taylor but who is now in New Prison
that sd. Murphey took the Watch on the Sunday Morning
and that this Wife paid him the Guineas for it the
next day when her Husband was absent or in Bed
further says that he knew the said Murpheys to be
common receivers of Stolen Goods for that he had before
Sold them Stolen Handkerchiefs when they used to desire
him to bring them any thing else he shou'd get
