day of August 1767
Who being upon Oath says that on Wednesday the 5th.
Qust. at about seven oClock in the Evening he went to
the red Lyon in Islington Road
In Company with
William Marsh< no role >
now present, that he this Informant
went into a Room up one pair of Stairs that a Person
nor Present who calls himself William Edward< no role >
instantly
followed him into the said Room together with an other
Person now present who calls himself Richard Thomas< no role >
that the aforesaid Mr. Marsh came in lost says
that Marsh himself had a Bottle of Yorkshine
Ale that they continud there about three Quarter
of an hour during which time said Edwards and
Thomas never quitted the Room and that he and
Marsh went away and left them there says they
all conversed together on different subjects says that
either said Edwards as Thomas declared that they
expected a large Company from Sadlers Walls
and
that they were affraid that Room wou'd not be
large enough for them
