Square in the liberty of Westminster , in the County
of Middlesex , Esquire, of Delicia< no role > This name instance is in set 1749. his Wife , of
John Rogers< no role > , Constable, of the Parish of St. George
Hanover Square aforesaid, and of Thomas
Adams< no role > , of Oxford Street, in the Parish of St.
Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex ,
Writer, taken before this twelfth Day of May
1767

Who being upon Oath severally say, and first the said
Robert Viner< no role > for himself saith that within these few days past
he had feloniously Stolen and taken out of his Breeches Pockets,
at divers times, Money, to the amount of nineteen Guineas in
Gold, saith that in Order to discover the Thief he caused a certain
Number of Guineas to be Marked in the manner of those now
produced Six of [..] which he verily believes to be his property, and parcel
of these Guineas he so caused to be marked as aforesaid; and the
said Delicia for herself saith that She did Mark said
Guineas; that six of the seven Guineas now produced she knows tobe
parcel of said Guineas by her so Marked as aforesaid, and to
be the property of her Husband Robert Viner< no role > Esquire; And
farther saith that the three Sheets, and a quantity of Glass now
produced She also knows to be his property; And the said John
Rogers< no role > for himself saith that by virtue of a Search Warrant
under the hand and Seal of John Spinnage< no role > Esquire to search
the Trunks and Boxes of Mary Rodolph< no role > now present,he found
the Sheets and Glasses now produced concealed in a Trunk
belonging to the said Mary Rodolph< no role > ; And the said Thomas
Adams< no role > for himself saith that he did yesterday Assist the
said John Rogers< no role > in making the above Search and did find
the Seven Guineas now produced concealed in a Trunk belonging
to the said Mary Rodolph, now present.
