The Information of Martha Quin< no role >
taken before me this 19th. day of Apl. 1767

Who being upon Oath says that the Lodges in the same
house with one Charles Preston< no role > in Holliwell Street St. Clements
says that the said Charles Best< no role > on proposed to her yesterday
Morning to carry a Letter now ford need to the Rt. Honble The
Marquis of Carnarsan at Southgate and that she was to Appear
as the said Charles Preston< no role > 's Wife says the said Preston to tel her
that the Marquis was a Sodomite and that she would blow him
if he did not give him some Money says the said Preston
promised this Informt. to give her a Guinea if she got any Money
by delivering the aforesaid Letter and that she carried the
said Letter accordingly to the Marquis's House at Southgate
as aforesaid farther saith that she is not the said Preston's
Wife and that he and one Williams now present sent with her
to deliver the same says that on the servant's at the Marquis's
refusing to take in the Letter said Preston went back to a Public'k
House and Wrote another Letter says that the Letter which
She carried was read before her and Mr. Brand her Landlady
before she Preston and Williams set out of Town for Southgate
