Hoole< no role > of Clerkenwell Butcher and
John Underwood< no role > of Swanalley Butcher
taken before on this 8d. day of Aprl. 1767

Who being upon Oath severally say that on Monday Evening
last about 8 o'Clock they these Information Company with John
Griffiths< no role > Deceased set out from the red Lyon at Holloway in a
Hackney Coach for London that when they came near to the
Sign of the white Horse they were stopt by four or more Foot Pads
Say that one of the said foot Pads Fired a Pistol and Killed the
aforesaid John Griffiths< no role > and the Sd: Robert Hoole< no role > and said John
Underwood< no role > farther say that after the said Griffiths [..] was
Killed they were Robert by the said foot Pads to wit Informant
Hoole of four pounds Nine Shillings and Informant Underwood
of half a brown and other Silver and also of his Hatt
