WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto
Us. two of Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex
aforesaid
(one whereof one is of the Quarum) by the Church-
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Said
Parish Edmonton
That Two Bastard Children born
of the Body of

)in the sd
Parish of St. Mary White Chapel
the one named
Mary< no role >
aged about 5 years & the other
Susanna< no role >
about 3 Yrs
their sd Mother having run away & Dunted them)
lately introduced, and
came into the Said Parish of Edmonton
and are become Chargeable to the Same: We
the Said Justices, upon Examination of the Premises
upon Oath, and other Circumstance, do adjudge the
Same to be true, and do also adjudge the Place of the
last legal Settlement of the Said 2 Children viz

to be in the sd Parish of
St. Mary White Chapel
in the County of Middx
as sd.
THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to
require you, on Sight hereof, to remove and
Covey the Said 2 Children Viz. Mary< no role >
& Susanna< no role >
from and out of Your Said Parish of Edmonton
to the Said Parish of St. Mary
White Chapel
and them deliver unto Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the Poor there, or Some or one of them
together with this our Order, or a true Copy hereof,
who are hereby required to receive and provide for
them,according to Law. Given under our
Hands and Seals this 16th Day of March
1767.
