The Information of Henry Timbrell< no role >
of Chairing Cross Victr . taken before me
this 8th. day of June 1765

Who being upon Oath says that last Night between the hours of seven
and nine a Bureau in his one pair of stairs back Room was wrench'd open
and from thence feloniously stolen taken and carried away three Bank Notes
to the amount and value of £110 to wit, one of £10 and two of £50 each, one
Draft for £137 upon Robt. Mackey< no role > Merchant , and about seventy pounds
in Cash half of which or there abouts was in Silvers, says that about two
Months agoe he became a cynaited with Alexander Kenedy< no role > now in
Custody, says that on Wednesday last sd. Kenedy came to this Informants
house and asked him if he had recd. the £50 (meaning the Sum of
fifty pounds which had been due to this Informt. from one Capt Edwards
by Note) that this Informt. told him he had recd. said Sum of Money
that at this time sd. Kenedy had with him a Man whose Name since appears
to he Brady and who this Morning absconded, says that at this time
[..] Brady continued in his House for the space of two hours at
least during which time said Kenedy freequently went in [..] of the
house Walked about the Passage Etc and, as he has since found, went
up Stair's and at the door of his Bed Room meeting with this Informants
Daughter a Child of about seven Years of Ase, Questioned her as to
the situation of the several Rooms in the house and where this
Informant lags, all which sd. Kenedy has since his being in Custody
acknowledged, farther says that Yesterday about five a Clock in the
Afternoon said Kenedy and Brady come into his house together
and in a very unusual Manner for his Customers Walked about
out of one Room into another that in a short time sd. Brady
disappeared and who thos he went out of his he [..] coroner [..]
himself in come part of it Informt. can't lete, that about
eight o Clock sd. Kenedy came up to this Informant at his Barr
and in an officious and extraordinary manner kept this Informt.
in discourse for near half an hour and presented this Informt. from
going out thos he several times attempted it, and then went
off, and as soon as he was gone he this Informant
discovered that he had been [..] Robbed as above of th
