Informations of Witnesses severally taken and acknowledged
on the behalf of Our Sovereign Lord the king touching the death of
Margaret Bowne< no role > at the Dwelling House of Thomas Sesson< no role > Known
by the Sign of the Crown in Magdalen Rents in the Parish of Saint
Buttolph without Aldgate in the County of Middlesex on the Twenty
second day of November in the fifth Year of the Reign of Our
sovereign Lord King George the Third before me Thomas Phillips< no role >
One of his Majesties Coroners for the said County on in Inquisition
then and there taken on view of the Body of the said Margaret
Bousic then and there Lying dead ad following to wit

Mary Wife of Ralph Potts< no role > of Magdalens Rents aforesd. Tobacco Cutter
Saith that Tuesday last about half after Eight in the Evening being with
her Husband at Home in there own House next Door to Mr Bowne
the heard a Rumbling of Chairs and said surely there is no Body
Robbing that Poor womanAnd her Husband then said you had
better go and seeThat she went and Lifted up the Lable of the
Door and Called to her and set her Knee against the Door but she could
not open the Door That she then pecpd through the Key Hole
And saw Mrs Bousid lying on the Floor and a Man standing another stooping down
and Lifting his hand up and downThat she then went and
called her Husband and he Burst open the Door with his Knee
And while her Husband was pushing at the Door this Information
heard a Person go up stairs and soon afterwards they heard the
glass of the Window up one in air Haurs falling outthat the person
she saw standing over Mrs Bousie had on a blue coat which appeared
to be a long OneThat there was Lighted candle stood on a Table
very near him But she says she could not see the mans Face and
does not know whether he had on his own Hair on a Wig nor whether
he had any fail behindThat when the Door wad opened they found
