Chappele in the County of Middlesex the Twenty fifth day of September
in the fourth year of the Reign of Our Severeign Lord King George
the Third before me Thomas Phillips< no role > One of his Majestys Coroners
for the said County on an Inquisition then and there taken on
view of the Body of the said William Vandome< no role > This name instance is in set 2011. then and there
lying dead as follow (to wit)

Robert Eyre< no role > of Keat Street Spitalfield Taylor Saith he is One of the
Headboroughs of pitalfields and as such One Pladell on Saturday last
the 22d. Sepr. I gave this Informant a Warrt. to be Served upon One
Michael Sherridan< no role > a Bricklayers Labourer for an Assault
Upon which he went with said playdell to the Sign of the City of Nowich in
Wentworth Street Spitalfields and took Sherrridan into Custody about
Seven or Eight oClock in the Evening And staid with him there hill about
Nine with a view for Sherridan to make the Matter up But having
heard some People in the House whisper something about a Revenue
This Informant Sent to the Watchouse for some Assistance And upon
some of the Watchmens Coming he Attempted to take away the Prisoner
Sherridan But just as he and the Prisoner and his Assistants were Come
out of the said House Called the City of Norwich they were set upon in the
Street by sevl. Men to the Number of about half a serve Armed with
Sticks like Broom sticks some or One of which knockd' this Informant into
the Kennel and rendred being Senceless for some timeThat this
