At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King holden at Guildhall in King Street Westmr.
in and for the Liberty of the Dean and Chapter of the
Collegiate Church of St. Peter Westmr. the City Borough
and Town of Wetmr. in the County of Middlesex and St.
Martin le Grand London by Adjournment on Saturday
the Twenty first day of July in the fourth Year of the
reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Third King of Great
Britain Etc before William Keelynge< no role > Roger Jackson< no role >
John Spinnage< no role > Charles Carne< no role > Esquires and Others
their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King Assigned
to keep the Peace in the said Liberty and also to hear and
determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds
Committed within the said Liberty.

Upon reading the Humble Petition of Thomas Gardenor< no role > exhibited to this
Court Thereby Shewing that the said Petitioners Thomas Gardenor by
Indenture of Apprenticeship (with the consent of his Friend Peter Laprimandaye)
dated on or about the Twelfth day of November One thousand seven hundred
and Sixty was bound an Apprentice unto John Crouder< no role > of the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields in the County of Middlesex Cordwainer for and during
the Term of Seven Years And the said John Crouder< no role > in Consideration of
Ten Pounds Ten Shillings in hand paid by Peter Laprimandaye< no role > was
to find the said Petitioner Thomas Gardenor Meat Drink Washing Cloaths

That the said Petitioner Thomas Gardenor had not been employed by
his said Master to make any sort of Shoes or any other work in the said Trade
of a Cordwainer for five weeks last past and his said Master has at this
Present no work for the said Petitioner and declares he cannot tell when
he shall have any work for the said Petitioner Thomas Gardenor It was
therefore Prayed that this Court wond take the Premises into Consideration and discharge the
said Petitioner Thomas Gardenor from his said Indenture of Apprenticeship Whereupon the said
John Crouder< no role > was Ordered to Attend this Court this day and all other
Persons concerned to Answer the said Complaint and shew Cause why the said
Petitioner Thomas Gardenor should not be discharged from his Indenture
of Apprenticeship to the said John Crouder< no role > And the said John Crouder< no role > being
duly Served with a Copy of the said Petition and Order Attended this Court
accordingly and Consented and agreed that the said Petitioner Thomas Gardenor should
be discharged from his said Indenture of Apprenticeship to him the said
