Ordered to Dec 1722 For the Safe Custody & more effectually
Securing of Persons upon tryal of their Travereses That the
Sheriff for the time being Cause one of His Bailiffs to attend the Courts of
Sessions of the Peace & Oyer & Terminer and to take
Care that no person on Trial of his or her Traverse do
escape or depast without Licence Etc

Ordered 16 Jan 1724 That the Sheriff for the time being do for
the future cause six of His Bailiffs to attend the Court of
every Genl & General Quarter Sessions of the Peace to be
hereafter holden upon this Majesty's Service upon every day of
each Session during the sitting of the Court.

Consent on
Appeal's to be
by Councill


Ordered 2 July 1725. that where any appeal agt. the remov'd
of any Poor Pson or Psons shall be preferred no consent
either for allowing or disallowing such appeal be allowed
by the Court unless such consent be given by Councell.

Clerk Peace to
Inform Cot. when
High Constable


Ordered 14 Apr 1727. that the Clerk of the Peace do the
Sessions before any High Constable of Holbourn Finsbury
or Tower Division is to go out of His Office give Notice of the
time of the expiration of the Office To the intent that the
Court may Order such Notice to the Justices of the Divn .
to nominate some Person fit to be Constable to the
then next Genl. Quarter Session Etc.
