Gentleman
maketh Oath that he this Deponent is
Employed as Sollictor
for the above Defendant to defend the said prosecution
and this Deponent further saith that he did on the Fourteenth day of
September last by the Direction of the above Defendant go to Saint
Bartholomew's Hospital
and there was the above Prosecutor Lawrence
Marr as a Patient in the said Hospital and was at That since Capable
of going abroad unless in Danger of his [..] Life and this Deponent
also further saith that Go did on the Eleventh day of October last past
go again to Saint Bartholomews Hospital
to Enquire for the said
Lawrence Marr the above prosecutor in Order to have Served him with
a Copy of the Notice hereto annext but was there Informed by the Nurse that the
said Lawrence Marr the above prosecutor was gone from the said Hospital
which Information this Deponent verily believes to be two and Lastly
this Deponent saith that he did on the said Eleventh day of october go to
House of one Mr Harris in Princess Court Mar Duty Lane being
the Lodgings of the said Lawrence Marr the above prosecutor and there
saw the said Mr. Harris who Informed this Deponent that she Knew
the said Lawrence Marr the above prosecutor and that he had Lodged at
her house before he went as a Patient into the said Hospital but where
he then Lodged or Lived she Com not Inform this Deponent all which
said last Information this Deponent verily believes to be True
