Who being on Oath saith that she hath been unhappy by Connected
with one John Placket< no role >
and lived with him in the Manner of
a Wife about Three Months And saith That on Wednesday
last about Eight in the Evening this Inst: went to the Magpye
and Barley More in Greys Jun Lane with the sd. Placket
and they Continued togr till Eleven O Clockandwhere Richd Payne< no role >
went home And this Ins & her Sister went home & left the sd.
Placket & Day togr. and she saw nothing More of the said-
Placket till about Two O Clock in the Morning When
she heard a Coach stop And the sd. Placket told the Coach
man to call Jane Placket< no role >
upon which the Ins went
Down to the Street door & opened it and saw the sd Placket
and asked him to come in come sd. Placket sayd he wod go & give
the Coachman a Pot of Beer & come Presently and the sd
Plackett soon returned and when he come upstairs
had got under his Arm a Blue Coat and a Ruffled Shirt
a Hatt whichHatthad a kind of Long Shagg on it & a Pair of
Veloil Breeches lined with a Stupe or broad Cheque and
this Inst. seeing the sd Ruffled Shirt Bloody & the sd. Placket
shirt bloody greatly surprised her & occasioned her
to Enquire into the Cause And the sd. Placket told her
he had been [..] Fighting with a Man in Holborn Coat for
Coat Breeches for Breeches Watch for Watch Shirt
for Shirt & that he had beat him & had got the King
And the next Day this Ins saw a Watch and a Pair of
Sleeve Buttons set [..] as their Inst. bell with Diama
and after break fast the sd. Placket & this Inst went out-
