That last Wednesday Night abts. 8 he was at his door
& saw four Woman abt. a Post belonging to his House
one of the four Woman was the deced & her back was
towards the Channaltheir discourse seem'd to be,
as if there had been a difference, not betwixt themselves
but somebody else, & in abt. 5 or 6 Minutes after
came up a Man in a very great passion, up to the
Woman at the post & thot. he wd. have struck at
the person, who stood at the post wth. her Face towds.
the Witness, believes it was prvented. by the Women
& he observ'd the deced then to smile & he Thought
the Warmth was then overbut in abt. 2 Minutes
his Son inform'd him there was a Fighting at a
small distance from the post but between the same
peoplethat what he first observ'd was 2 Women
had hold of the Man& then that the deced was
lying sideways on the Ground & saw the wheel
go ever her shoulder & Neckdid not soe the
Men strike her, nor did he soe her fall.
