The Information of Christopher Mc.cabe< no role > . Margt. Kelly< no role > & Mary
Gibson< no role > taken before me one of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the said County

Who being sevly. on Oath say & first this Inst: Christopher Mc.cabe
for himself saith That on Saturday night last about Eleven o'Clock
Gravesend & left the other Inst. Kelly in Pesson of his House
And saith That he left a Guinea a ½ Ga. & a four & Shills & Six
Penny Peice in a Box and Coched the [..] & and upon his
return to Toner he found his Box broke open & the sd. three
peices of Gold stole out of the Box and saith that by the
Account of Kelly he had Just reason to suspect a person
now present who calls herself Sarah Davis< no role > had Stole
the same upon which he caused her to be Apprehended
and upon her Exacon the sd. Sarah positive by denyed the
taking the sd. Money but Confessed she was in the Room
all night with the Kelly & that she had 40 more than
five shillings in Money & that she no Gold nor had she
Exchanged any Gold with any Person and then Ins
May Kelly< no role > for herself that the sd. Sarah Davis< no role > came
into the Room where this Ins was & where the sd Box was
and bet. four & five in the Morning the sd Sarah denied this
Ins to so out & set some Wormwood Cordial & this Ins was gone
about Twenty Minutes & when she came back the found
the sd Davis in the Room but did not discover the Box to
be broke open untill her Master came home And the Ins
Mary Gibson< no role > for herself saith that on Sunday Morning last the
said Sarah Exchanged with this Inst. half a Guinea & [..] about
Nine O'Clock at Night she Exchanged with her a Guinea
And upon the other Ins Mccabe Inquiring after it & saying
the Guinea & ½ Ga. was new Coin this Ins very well
Remembres that the sd. Guinea & ½ Ga so Exchanged
