The Information of Stephen Dalton< no role > of
the Nags head in Leather Lane Vr. taken
before me this 18th. day of Febry 1762

Who being on Oath says that on Wednesday the 10th. Insts.
about 7 o Clock in the Evening he was alarmed by his wife
saying she believed there was a Fire in her House, says that
he immediately went up one paid of Stairs where he found
a Fire in his Body and presently found a Fire likewise in
a Chest of Drawers in the said Room and the Drawers shall,
says that at the Time of the said Fire he had Stolen out
of his House three Silver Table Spoons, one Nutmeg
-grater, three Lacer Caps, one Plain Ds . a black Silk
Handkerchief, one Lawn Do. two paid of Muslin
Ruffles and other things, says that before the said
Fire was entirely extinguished a Person now present
calls herself Hannah Abraham brought word into his
House that she had found hart of the aforesaid things
at this Informants door, and this Informt. further says that
from the above circumstances Joined to others he verily
believes that Sarah Moreing< no role > his then Servant is the
very Person who Stole the above things and wilfully
set fire to his House as aforesaid
