In pursuance of His Majesty's Command, signified by
an Order of His Majesty's most Honourable Privy-
Council of the 22d Day of July last, directed to his Grace
the Duke of NEWCASTLE, Custos Rotulorum of the
County of Middlesex
, setting forth, That His Majesty's
Service doth at this Time require a speedy Supply of Seamen
and Seafaring Men, to man such of His Majesty's Ships as
are now ready to be Commissioned; These are to Will and
Require you, and every of you, upon Receipt hereof, to
Search for and Apprehend all straggling Seamen, and cause
them to be brought before Us, or some other of His Ma-
jesty's Justices of the Peace for this County, as shall be
assembled at
to be dealt with according to the Direction contained in
the said Order of Council. And hereof sail not at your
Peril. Given under Our Hands and Seals this
