Obliged, to bear any Publick offices, serve on Juries or Inquests, Watch
or Ward, in any place where they dwell or elsewhere, nor subject to any
mulet or Time for not Submittig thereunto, And the Lord Chamberlain
of his Majestys Household for those Servants above Stairs, The Lord
Steward of his Majestys Household and in his Absence his Majesties
Officers of the GreenCloth for the Servants below Stairs; And the Master of the
Horse for the Servants belonging to the Stables, are hereby authorized and
required, to take Especial Care that this his Majestys Pleasure be duly
observed and put in ExecutionAnd that his Majestys Attorney
General for the Time being, Be, and he is hereby authorized and
required upon any Application made to his by any of his Majesties
Servants in Ordinary with Fee, to cause a Stop to be put to all proceedings
already had or to be commenced against them or any of them for refusing
to watch or to serve on Juries, or bear or undergo any publick Office or
Employment above mentioned. And his Majesty doth herby further
Order, that Copies of this Order be left with the Respective Clerks of the
Peace of the Citys of London and Westminster and Counties of
Middlesex and Surry to be Kept amongest the records of his Majestys
Sessions, to the Intent, that due Obedience may be given thereunto
and This Servants may not be rexed with unreasonable
Proceedings
