To the Worshipfull his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in the Present General Quarter
Session Assembled.

The Humble Petition of William Pentlow< no role >

Most Humbly Sheweth


That your Petitioner being Charged
on an Indictment for felony and Murder was by your
Worships Suspended from his Office of Keeper of New Prison
Until Etc. That your Petitioner having been Tryed at the
Present Session at the Old Bailey upon the said Indictment
he was acquitted no Evidence appearing in the least to Affect
him.

Wherefore your Petitioner most humbly prays
that your Worships out of your great Candour and goodness
will be pleased to restore him to his former Office of
Keeper of the said Prison He promising that he will make
it his constant Studdy to deserve your Worships favours
by a faithfull discharge of his Duty in the Due
Execution of his Office Etc.

And your Petitioner as in Duty
Bound will for ever pray Etc
