by adjournment On Thursday the fourth Day
of December 1760 in the first Year of the
Reign of king George the third
It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
the Treasurer
of this County
do pay to Mr Richard Holmes< no role >
the Same of twenty nine Pounds nineteen
Shillings and one penny for Bricklayers Work performed by him for
this County at New Prison
Clerkenwell
And the further Sum of ninety
five Pounds twelve Shillings and four pence for like Business at the
House of Correction there And also the further Sum of two Pounds One
Shilling and five pence for like Business at Hicks Hall
aforesaid
making together the Sum of One Hundred twenty seven Pounds
twelve Shillings and ten Pence the Amount of his three several
Bills delivered into this Court and perused and examined by his
Majesty's Justices here present And this Court doth Order that the
Receipt of the said Mr. Holmes together with this Order shall be a
sufficient Discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Payment
