At the General Session of the Peace of the
Lord the King holden for the County of Middx
at Hick's Hall in Saint John Street in the
the County aforesaid by adjournment On
Thursday the fourth day of December 1760
in the first Year of the Reign of King
George the 3d.

It being reported to this Court by Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqr. one
of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County being of the Committee
on the Alterations and repairs at the two Prisons of Clerkenwell that the
Sum of two Pounds and two Shillings hath been disbursed and paid
by Mr. James Jefferson< no role > the Deputy Clock of the Peace of this County-
at Meetings with Workmen on that Business by Order of his Majesty's
said Justices present at those meetings It is therefore orderedthat
by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role > the Treasurer of this County do pay
to the said Mr Jefferson the said two Pounds two Shillings And that his
Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the
said Treasurer for such Payment
