Middlesex to wit


The Information of Mary Middleton< no role > taken
before me this 9th day of July 1760

Who being on Oath says that she is Wife to Thomas Middleton< no role >
Shoemaker and lodged in the House of one Boney a Taylor in the
Parish od Acton in the County of Middlesex That she has Lodgd
there about 10 Weeks, Says that one Wm. Odell< no role > a Soldier &
Elizabeth < no role > his Wife did Lodged in the sd House Says that on
last Tuesday was three Weeks being the 17th of June last
about 9 in the Evening Wm. Odell< no role > went from his house towards
Ealing in Search of his Wife whom he said was gone [..] to Shew
a Woman the Way, Says that on this Informants Asking the
Sd. Odell if he had found his Wife the next night he said no
but that he had seen her since this Informant. Sayswhenthat after the
Body of the sd Odells wife was found the sd Odell on being
Ask'd by this Informant who he thought had Murder'd her
Said he was sure more than One man had done it Says
that other Conversation pass'd between the sd Odell and this
Informant which the sd Odell desired her to keep a Secret telling
her that if he was hang'd he shou'd Appear so her Says
that She heard Mrs Boney advise him to Advertise his Wife and
Offer'd to 'collect the Money to pay for it
