Taken before me this 5th. day
of July 1760
Who being on Oath says that She has worked at Eling
in the County
of Middlesex
about three weeks, says that on Tuesday the 17th.. of June
last She Supt at Mr. Spices's the Rings Arm's
at Eling
aforesaid that
she lay in a Hovell that Night, in a Field belonging to Mr. Gulston
that She went to Bed about half an hour after 11 o' Clock that before
she lay down, She heared a voyce which she Apprehended to he that
of a woman cry out Murder, Murder severel times, and says that
She verily believes she heard the said Voyce repeat the following
Words Vizt. my Husband will Murder me, says she believes that
the said Cry was Continued near a Quarter of an hour, and says that
she verily believes that this was at about half an hour after
Eleven o' Clock
