To the Worshipful his Majesties Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex in their General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden
for the said County at Hicks hall Assembled.

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Swithin in the
City of Worcester and County of the Same City.

Sheweth.


That by a vagrant pass under the hands and Seals of John Keeling< no role >
and Charles Ackers< no role > Esquires two of his Majesties Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing date
the Thirtieth day of November One thousand Seven hundred and fifty Seven
last past Richard Shirley< no role > Mary < no role > his Wife and their four Children namely
John < no role > Aged about Nine years and Eight Months Ann < no role > Aged about Seven
Years and Ten Months Mary < no role > Aged about five years and ten Months and
Richard < no role > Aged about One year and Eleven Months were removed and
Conveyed from the Parish of Saint Luke in the said County of Middlesex
to the Said Parish of Saint Swithin in the City of Worcester and County of the
Same City as the place of their last legal Settlement whereby your Petitioners
conceive themselves to be Aggrieved.

Therefore they humbly appeal to your Worships against
the Judgment of the Said two Justices of the peace and pray
your Worships will be pleased to Appoint some day in this present
Session to hear and Determine the Matter touching the Said Appeal.

And your Petitioners will ever Pray.
