To the Worshipfull his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex in General Quarters Session at Hicks Hall Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Anne within the
Liberty of Westminster in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under the Hands and Seals of
John Keeling< no role > and Saunders Welsh< no role > Esqrs: two of his Majesty's Justices of the peace
for the County of Middlesex (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the
15th. day of December last Mary Wilson Capes< no role > Wife of Samuel Capes< no role > (who
hath Deserted her) with her two Children (namely) Susannah< no role > Aged about Six
years and Thomas Francis Samuel< no role > aged three years or there abouts were
remove from the parish of St: Sepulchre in the County of Middlesex to the said Parish
of St. Anne as the Place of the last Legal Settlement of the said Samuel Capes where by
your Petitioners conceive themselves to be Aggrieved

Therefore they humbly Appeal to your Worships against the
Adjudgement of the said two Justices and pray your Worships
will be pleased to Order that the Church wardens and Overseers
of the poor of the said Parish of St. Sepulchre and all persons
concerned do Attend this Court some day in this present
Session to hear and Abide the Judgement and Determination
of this Court touching the said Appeal
