for an Assault

James Warriner< no role > of Old Street in the Parish of St. Luke in the
County of Middx Gent maketh Oath that he this Depont. did on
Thursday last the fifth day of January instant serve a true Copy of the
Notice hereunto annexed by leaving the same with the Mistress of the
House (situate in little Buckle Street White Chapel ) where the Prosecutrix
Lodges & who at the time of receiving the said Notice acknowledged
her Name to be Mary Pettyway< no role > , And further this Dept. saith that when
he delivered the said Notice her acquainted the said person wth. the
Contents thereof who replyed she knew the Affair very well & that she
would deliver the same to the prosecutrix Margaret Clay< no role > when she
returned home in the Evening
