At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County of
Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Friday the fourteenth day
of January in the thirtieth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > George Greene< no role > Francis Bedwell< no role > Esqrs . and others
their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and
also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Huddersfield in the County of
York have exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court Setting forth That by an Order
bearing date the twenty sixth day of October last past under the hands and Seals of Francis Jackman< no role >
and Henry Trent< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the City and Liberty of
Westminster in the County of Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum) Penelope Hunt< no role >
Singlewoman aged about twenty Years Daughter of Joseph Hunt< no role > was removed from the
Parish of St. James within the Liberty of Westminster in the said County of Middx to the said
Parish of Huddersfield as the Place of her last legal Settlement, which Appeal was appointed
by this Court to be heard on this present Friday the fourteenth day of January instant Now
forasmuch as this Court is of Opinion to have the hearing of the said Appeal adjourned It is Ordered
by this Court that the hearing and determining the Matter of the said Appeal be and the same is
hereby adjourned untill the next General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of
Middx And that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. James
within the Liberty of Westminster (upon Notice of this Order) and all Persons concerned do attend
the Court of the said next General Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx
by adjournment on Tuesdaythe twenty second day of February next at ten of the Clerk in the
Forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment and Determination of the same Court touching the said
Appeal.
