to which he was order'd by the Mate of the said ship<lb></lb>

board the said Ship accidentally came into the Cabin<lb></lb>

being then cummaging in the Chest of small Arms<lb></lb>
(which then stood in the Cabin) merely out of Curiosity having<lb></lb>
never Seen at Sea before nor never seen or handled any<lb></lb>
fire Arms he by Accident took up a Pistol which was<lb></lb>
then in the said<gap reason="illegible"></gap>
Chest, & as it was in his hand it<lb></lb>
