It is ordered, that the aforesaid Order made the 15th
Of January . 1718. should be a Standing Order of the Court,
Nomine Contradicente.

It is order'd (Nomine Contradicente) that no Order
to be hereafter made by the Court of General Quarter
or General Sessions of the Peace, should be esteemed a
Standing Order of the Court, unless it be proposed & agreed
to on the County Day in one Sessions, and be confirmed
on the County Day in the then next ensuing Sessions, and
that no standing Order already made, or which hereafter
shall be made, shall be reversed or discharged, or in any-
wise alter'd, unless the Reversal or Alternation of Such
order be proposed and agreed to on the County Day in one
Sessions, and be confirmed in the County Day in the then
next ensuing Sessions.

It is ordered by this Court that the Election of House
keeper at Hicks Hall , and Cryer of the General Quarter &
General Sessions of the Peace for this County to be this day
made, and also Election of such House-Keeper and
Cryer, and of the Keeper of New Prison , and Keepers of
the House of Correction of Clerkenwell in this County, or
any other Officers (who have Offices of Profit) under the
Nomination & Appointment of the Justices of the peace for
this County, to be hereafter made, shall be by way of Balloting
& not otherwise, any former Orders of the Court of General
Quarter, or General Sessions of the Peace for this County, to
the Contrary in any wise notwithstanding
