The Information of Mary Lowth< no role > of the Parish of
St. Jame's Clerkenwell taken before usthistwo of
His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the sd: County

Who being upon Oath says that on or about the 16th Oct last
Eliz. Jeffreys< no role > wife of Rich: Jeffreys< no role > came to the Lodging of this
Informant and shewing her two breast and said ser Mrs Lowth
I am murdered, and her breast appeared very black in several
places and scratched and her face also very much bruised
& scratched, and the sd: Eliz. upon being asked who had done
her the injury, she said, her Husbands Cozin Dove and told
this Informant that the sd: Dove threw her down by
taking hold of her Hair with one hand and her breast
with the other and then kneeled upon her and that [..]
the Husband of the sd: Eliz: was present and [..] said
Beat her Cozin if you murder [..] her He forgive you and this
Informant says that she went the following sunday to the
Lodging of the sd Jeffreys and saw the sd: Eliz: who appeared
extremely ill complaining of her breast her Body & side
and then said to her Husband I may thank you and your
Cosin for this, and upon the Husband saying that he did
not set his Cosin on the sd Eliz: Uplyed yes you did
And this Informant says that she saw the sd: Eliz: twice
afterwards where she Charged the sd: Dove & her Husband
as before and when she was upon her Death Bed she
Constantly said that the sd Dove incouraged by [..]
sd [..] the Husband of the sd Eliz: had been the Cause of her
Death And this Informant says that the sd: Eliz: languished
untill the 5th Instant & then died And this
Informant says that the Deceased conctantly
Complained of the Husband ill usuage both by words & blows
