The Examination of Mary Hicks< no role > wife of
Jonathen Hicks< no role > of the Parish of Edgeware in the
said County of Middlesex Labouror taken before
us two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the said County the 18th day of November 1755

The said Mary Hicks< no role > being charged before us
by George Dew< no role > of the Parish and County afforesaid
Cordwainer with the Felonies Stealing onto of
the Parish House at Edgeware afforesaid one
Linnen Shift, one Linnen apron, one Linnen
Hankerechifs and one Linnen Sheet the Property of
the said George Dew< no role > Value ten pence, shee the said
Mary Hicks< no role > upon her Examination now taken
before us confeseth that she did take the before
Mentioned things, and that She lost the Linnen
Shift at a Lodgeing House in London the apron
she pledged for two pence, the Hankerechif Shee Sold
but do not remember what the rceived for it
and the Sheet Shee took to a Neighbours House to
Air & there left it
