At the General Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for County of Middx
at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Thursday the fifteenth day of
May in the twenty eighth year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great
Britain & before Thomas Save< no role > George Errington< no role > Merry Teshmaker< no role > Walter Berry< no role > Esquires and
and others their Follows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the Peace in the County
aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed
in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Dionis
Backchurch London exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court Setting forth That
by virtue of an Order under the Hands and Seals of Edward Byron< no role > and Thomas Hulse< no role > Esqrs. two of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Liberty of Westminster bearing Date the twenty
eighth day of April last Mary Pressley< no role > Wife of William Pressley< no role > with her three Children
namely William< no role > aged about six years Francis< no role > four years and Benjamin< no role > aged One year and
half were removed from the Parish of Saint Ann Westminster to the said Parish of Saint
Dionis Backchurch London as the place of their last Legal Settlement And that the Petitioners
thinking themselves Aggrieved by the said Order appealed against the same Whereupon at the
request of the Petitoners It is Ordered by this Court that the benefit of the said Appeal be
saved unto them And that the bearing and determining thereof be and the same is hereby adjourned
untill the next General Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County of Middx
And that the Churchwarden and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Ann
(upon Notice of this Order) and all persons concerned do attend the Court of the said meet General
Quarter Session of the Peace to be holden for the said County by adjournment on Thursday the
third day of July next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to hear and abide the Judgment and
Determination of the same Court touching the said Appeal.
