At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Monday the
twenty first day of October in the twenty eighth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the second King of Great Britain Etc before
and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the
King assigned to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers
Felonies Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Upon the humble Petition of Moses Murray< no role > exhibited unto this Court Setting forth That on
or about the ninth day of this instant October at a Vestry held at the Parish Church of Saint
Luke in the County of Middx the Petitioner was elected and chosen into the Office of one of the
Constables of the said Parish for the Year ensuing And that the Petitioner is Sixty five Years
of Age and is at present and hath been for two Years last past in a declining State of Health
having an Asthma upon his Lungs and other Ailments of Body so that he is thereby rendered
incapable of serving the said Office And the Petitioner therefore most humbly prayed this
Court to take the Premisses into Consideration and Order the Petitioner to be discharged from
the said Office of Constable
