the next Sessions in Case this Deponent can possibly meet with him
in Order that this Cause may be brought on to Tryall and which is the
absolute Desire and Intention of this Deponent [..]
[..] on Account of
the great Expences attending the putting of the said Tryall for Want of
the Evidence of the said George Sweatman< no role > And this Deponent Saith that
all the Expence which have accrued since the finding the Indictment
in this Cause have happened and are purely owing to the admitting
the said Defendant to Bail contrary to the Sence of this honourable
Court the preceding Sessions and on Account the said Defendant did
not Surrender himself agreeable to his Recognizance when called
upon the same is October Sessions last And this Deponent Believes
that the Court held at the Quarter Sessions for the City of London
were imposed upon by false Insinuations-and Misrepresentations
by the Agents and Friends of the said Defendt. otherwise this
Deponent believes he woud not have been admitted to Bail by
the said Court.
